Greenspaces and mental health

It has been proven that amenity green spaces help improve our mental health and sense of well-being. Who hasn't been for a walk in the open countryside and felt better for it! We associate the colour green with nature and so it has a natural calming effect.

Green spaces within an urban environment are hugely important to the community whether it's grassed areas, play grounds or a golf course. Allowing everyone the ability to access a green space also encourages social interaction and outdoor education.
